Apple 38mm iWatch - Lemon Green
Apple’s first smartwatch will do much more than just tell the time and it promises to deliver much more functionality than what rival Android Wear is currently offering.
The built in speaker and microphone can be used for phone calls, or alternatively, can be forwarded to your iPhone, Bluetooth headset or your car’s speakerphone for longer conversations. You can also manage your email from your wrist, including the ability to flag incoming email, mark it as read or unread, or move it to the trash. Notifications from third party apps will also be supported.
There is likely to be an Apple Watch to suit almost any taste or occasion with Apple offering the three different ranges: Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport and the premium Apple Watch Edition which comes encased in 18-karat yellow gold. Each range will offer various models consisting of different wrist straps from leather to stainless steel. The Apple Watch range alone will come with 18 different options to choose from.
Apple is aiming for a global release in early 2015 and by that time we should see plenty of third party app support allowing us to do even more from our wrists
